An archival-ish publication of KRAAK's first wave: Spring Brakers is/was a virtual space to present video performances by artists distanced by geography and circumstance but close in spirit and communion. It was also a means to entertain curiosity about mortals involved in like-minded activities, carried out through interviews that helped build new avenues and bridges in spite of (or perhaps thanks to) our collective imposed isolation.

We're proud to present Spring Brakers In Print, featuring profiles of the artists whose filmic pursuits blew our mind holes week in and week out during those two lonely months as well as a recap of the online radio shows that still reverberate through the etherwaves.
The stories told resonate through their familiarity while shedding light on each of their personal experiences and takeaways from this strange and unprecedented time vortex. Each article is accompanied by handy QR codes for video viewing and memory rehashing, and the physical magazine includes a digital compilation of tracks by each artist, sampled from the collection of corresponding KRUT EPs.
